Women's Guild

The women of Trinity were first organized in 1897 as “the Ladies Aid Society” which later became the “Women’s Missionary Society.” It wasn’t until the merger of the Evangelical and Reformed Churches that the Women’s Guild was formed. That was in 1953 during the pastorate of Rev. Glenn Coleman and it has been active ever since.

The calendar year of meetings runs from March through June and September through December. The ladies meet the last Monday of each of those months at 7:30 p.m. unless there is another special event that month, such as Mother’s Day or in December a Secret Sister Banquet is held earlier in the month. The meetings consist of worship and fellowship while taking care of business aspects of the church delegated to the women. Some of the things they take care of include the following: altar flowers, preparing the communion elements, recognizing new births in the congregation, decorating the church for special occasions such as Easter and Christmas, donating food baskets to the needy in our area and many other worthwhile projects.

We welcome all women of the congregation and the community to come share with us and hopefully your lives will be enriched for the Lord.
